A fake profile with your face does double damage: it steals the fans who find it first, and it can scam them in your name. The good news is impersonation breaks the rules everywhere, separate from copyright — so you have two ways to attack it.
On Instagram and Facebook, report the profile as impersonation. Meta's flow asks for the real profile it is copying — yours is the anchor. Photos stolen from your page can also be reported as copyright, which gives you two reports running at once.
On X, impersonation reports go through its impersonation flow, and copyright notices cover the stolen media itself. On TikTok, fake accounts are reported in-app and through its IP portal.
What slows people down is proof and persistence. Platforms want to see that you are the real person behind the real account — which is why our signup verification (a code in your official bio) doubles as your impersonation evidence pack.
Fakes come back in waves, especially after a real account grows. Build the check into your routine — or let our patrol do it. Impersonator removal is built into Nullva Pro, not sold as an add-on.

Get My Free ScanBuild your evidence before you need it. Keep links to your official profiles, a dated screenshot of your bio and follower counts, and — if a platform ever asks — be ready to verify you are the person in the photos through its official flow only, never through a link a stranger sends you. Fakes often pair impersonation with scams, so warning your audience once, in a pinned post that does not link the fake, protects fans without feeding it traffic.
Watch for the pattern that gives fakes away and catches them early: they reuse your newest photos within hours, follow your followers, and link out to payment or chat apps you do not use. Checking your name on each platform weekly — the same searches in our free name-check tool — finds most fakes while they still have a handful of followers and no scam victims.
If a fake is actively scamming people — selling fake meetups, gift cards or 'private content' through payment apps — that is also fraud, and platforms treat fraud reports as higher priority than simple impersonation. Report both angles, and save the scam messages fans send you as evidence. Where money has moved, the payment app named in the scam takes its own reports too. You cannot control every copycat, but a fake reported early, on every surface, rarely grows old.
